Thanks to partnerships we’ve forged, we offer many places to drop off your unused goods across the Dallas community. As a 501(c)(3) charity, know that anything you donate to us is used to help ease the burden of kidney disease. Your donations are also tax-deductible!*
How to Donate Your Goods to American Kidney Services
Of course, this process begins with you. Gather all the items you wish to donate to AKS and cross-reference them with our list of items we take. For reference, here are a few of those items:
- Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
- Toys
- Electronics
- Furniture
- Home goods
Once you’ve gathered your goods, you can donate to us in two ways:
- Use our online form or call us to get on our rotation schedule to pick up any of your unused items. This rotation runs Mondays through Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. until sunset, or to request a special donation pickup.
- Utilize a drop-off location at one of the many Value World locations in the Dallas metroplex.
Either method will provide you with a valuable tax receipt you can hold on to until the next tax season.
