How to Make a Clothing Donation

When you’re ready to donate used clothes, we provide two simple means to do so. The first is by signing up using our online form to be added to our donation pickup call list. We’ll contact you every three to six weeks to see if you want to donate clothes or other household items.

When you’re ready to donate, put your clothing in boxes or bags and clearly label them with AKS. Then, on your pickup day, put them outside where our drivers can easily find them. Please note, we don’t allow our drivers to enter your home. They’re also not permitted to pick up any packages that don’t have an AKS label.

The second easy way to donate clothes is by dropping them off at either of the two Value World thrift stores. They’re located at 2223 S. Buckner Blvd. and 2594 Gus Thomasson Road, both in Dallas.

Why You Should Donate Clothes

In addition to helping chronic kidney disease patients, your donation has two other major benefits.
