It’s Easy to Donate Clothes in Flower Mound, TX

A box of clothes ready for donation

Your baby girl just turned 3, but you still have all her baby clothes. Or maybe it’s your son, who’s bulked up to join the football team but still has size small clothes in his closet. It could even be you, losing that 20 pounds you’ve sworn for years you’re going to lose, but you still have size 16 clothes in your closet. No matter what the case is, you have clothes you need to get rid of to make way for clothes that fit. That’s where we come in. We’re American Kidney Services, and we make it easy to donate clothes in Flower Mound, Texas.

Ways to Donate Clothes

Making a clothing donation has never been simpler. First, you can donate used clothes by dropping them off at an area Value Village location. There are two in Dallas, one at 2223 Buckner Blvd. #250, and the other at 2594 Gus Thomasson Rd.

If a drop-off isn’t convenient for you, you can use our online form to join our regular pickup schedule or schedule a special pickup. When it comes time for your pickup, put your clothes in boxes or bags clearly labeled with “AKS” and set them outside where our driver can easily find them. We don’t allow our drivers to enter your home, and they can’t take anything that isn’t clearly labeled.

We don’t just accept clothing donations. You can also donate:

  • Books
  • Decorative items
  • Dishes and silverware
  • Drapes and curtains
  • Electronics such as alarm clocks, radios, and TVs
  • Glassware
  • Non-upholstered furniture such as chairs, desks, and tables
  • Pots, pans, and other baking implements
  • Shoes
  • Small appliances such as bread makers, rice makers, and toasters
