Local Charity in St Louis Supports Kidney Disease Patients through Donations of Household Items
If you reside in St Louis or a nearby community and want to donate to a local charity, you can make donations to American Kidney Services (AKS) and help support people who have been diagnosed with kidney disease. AKS uses donations of common household items to generate funds that go to support programs at the American Kidney Fund, which provides direct financial aid to kidney disease patients.
Donating to our local charity is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Gather the items you wish to give to charity. You can donate toys, clothes, books, home electronics, furniture, appliances, housewares, and much more.
- Bag or box the items, and clearly mark the packages “AKS.” This way we know that the items are meant for our charitable organization.
- Call us at 314-968-9768 or use our online form to have AKS pick up your donations from your home or office. Our donation pickup services are free, and we pick up items Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until dark and on Saturdays by special request. You can also drop off your tax deductible* donations for our local charity at any area Value Village thrift department store during regular business hours.
If you would like to donate to our local charity, contact us today. AKS proudly welcomes donations from residents of St Louis and all nearby communities, including Chesterfield, Manchester, Lake Saint Louis, Ladue, St Charles, Arnold, and Ellisville. We encourage you to give to charity as often as possible.
