Make a Donation in St Louis, MO, and Help Provide Support to Kidney Disease Patients in Need

Donation St Louis MOResidents of St Louis, Missouri, interested in making a donation to charity that will support a great cause should consider donating to American Kidney Services (AKS). Our charitable organization’s mission is to support other charities that are dedicated to fighting kidney disease, a life-threatening illness that affects roughly 31 million Americans. We have chosen to back the American Kidney Fund (AKF), a nonprofit charity that provides direct financial aid to people with kidney disease and educational programs to those with and at risk of developing the illness. When a charitable donation of clothing or other common household items is made to our charity, the proceeds those items generate help fund the valuable programs and services of the AKF. Donations from St Louis residents to our organization can enable kidney disease patients to receive dialysis, and help people gain a better understanding of health measures that can be taken to avoid this common, yet preventable, illness.

Items you can donate to AKS include:

  • Clothes and shoes for men, women, and children
  • TVs and other electronics
  • Non-upholstered furniture, such as dinettes and coffee tables
  • Household appliances
  • Toys
  • Books
  • Cookware, glassware, and silverware
  • Lamps
  • Decorative items
  • And more

A donation to AKS can be made by calling us or using our online form to schedule our complimentary donation pickup services. Our uniformed drivers collect donations Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until dark. Additionally, you may drop off a donation for our charity at any nearby Value Village thrift department store during regular business hours.

Contact us today if you would like to make a donation. We encourage residents of St Louis, MO, and the surrounding communities to join our call list so we can let you know when we will be in the area collecting items during our regular donation pickup schedule.
